Countryside Farms goal is to introduce their quality egg brands to the largest number of Canadian consumers possible.

The company's ultimate goal is that all our eggs become a part of a delicious meal enjoyed by our consumers. 

Profile

Countryside Farms is located in Steinbach, Manitoba, Canada.  We work with egg farmers of all sizes from Manitoba's Interlake to Southern Manitoba, with most being within 100 km distance of our plant.

Countryside Farms is a Federally inspected plant with Kosher and Organic certification. We follow the HACCP program which is a Federal food production control system.    

Countryside Farms  has developed over the last decades an egg network distribution to the retail and food service distributors from different regions of Manitoba and outside the province. We serve our clients every week with our own trucking fleet. 

Countryside Farms is supplied by over one hundred (100) Manitoba egg producers. These producers are found in all regions of Manitoba. 

The company employs approximately 50 employees, mostly full time. Each employee is involved in the process of bringing the eggs (over 250 million eggs per year) from the producers to the consumers.

History

Countryside Farms was founded more than 3 decades ago,  Since then the company has operated under the same name..

During the last decades , due to the egg producers supplying more eggs to the company, the growth of Countryside Farms has been spectacular. The volume of eggs graded has grown and now, the company markets eggs from over 800,000 hens.

The egg grading station mission has also changed. Countryside Farms is now part of a bigger group of companies engaged in national distribution  (Groupe-Nutri-Group). With associations with Les Oeufs d'Or and Nutri-Oeuf in Quebec, Supreme Egg Products and Ontario Pride Eggs in Ontario and Maritime Pride Eggs in Nova Scotia, the Groupe-Nutri-Group market eggs from coast to coast.

The future

Countryside Farms has developed the infrastructure that will enable it to continue its Canadian expansion and face its future development.

Through its affiliation with Groupe-Nutri-Group, Countryside Farms intends to extend its business.
